Neolithic 2.0 – CHA Winter Conference Talk from Tony Ford.

The above is a screencast of my presentation from the CHA winter show in LA.  Specifically, I worked with CHA to build some materials to give small business people tools and a framework for how to apply emerging technology.  In this case, we looked at how to think about technology through an anthropological lens.   Many thanks to the Content Director for ArtFire, Britni, for her wonderful  drawings  of the various cave scenes to tie together the overall presentation.

I also would like to thank CHA for the wonderful work they do for professional crafters and craft companies and the opportunity to speak to their members.   You can learn more about CHA by visiting their website.  Hobby.org

Tony, this was awesome! It will be especially helpful to share with sellers who are reluctant to open a facebook or twitter account. Thank you!

    Fantastic Tony!

I just posted the link to my FB wall and highly recommended that all sellers listen to this.

I also shared on Twitter :)

    Really well done.

Excellent presentation ~ I *love* the tribal fulcrum ~ I learned more about eBiz on the whole, more about ArtFire ~ and more about managing my own eBiz. Truly, I enjoyed it ~ I will be sharing it with my Tribes ~ and will revisit it, I’m sure. As always, thank YOU, Tony and everyone who makes ArtFire all that it is!

    Tony,

As usual, you sounded great. Your voice was meant for audio. I enjoyed this and found it very interesting, thought provoking and informative.

I’d love to see a condensed version for new ArtFire embers and those thinking about opening a studio. From about the 60 minute mark to the end where you show graphics, explain the studio layout, the forums and the reasons ArtFire is built the way it is.

ArtFire is a breath of fresh air. Thanks for all you do!

Loved this, and shared it. It came at a great time, too – right as I was drafting my business plan for the year.
